Time goes by for everything and everybody. On October 23, 2008, we started to renovate the Vigna del Capannino, the historic vineyard of our estate.

Vigna del Capannino saw its light between 1956 and 1962, with Sangiovese Grosso di Toscana plants from a Montalcino nursery. Its good reputation stems from its enviable exposure and microclimate and also from its highly draining and steep soil, with a high amount of Alberese rock.

The new vineyard, created between March and September 2009, has a cépage of more than 5000 plants per hectare and uses only vines propagated from the original vineyard.
