The Chianti Classico Bibbiano "is a delightfully traditional wine that has not changed much, it seems, since it first went into bottle with the 1969. Acidity is piercing at first sip, but the palate adapts quickly, especially since the tannins are well handled and the alcohol (13,5 %) is well disguised. Archetypal, sour-cherry Chianti Classico, bright anmd fresh, for lovers of the old style".

Montornello "is less modernistic than it sounds, the Merlot [the Author refers to vintages before 2007] having had minimum impact on Sangiovese's natural light colour and characteristic sour-cherry and tea-leaf aromas. It makes you wonder how much other people, who claim to add only 5% Merlot/Cabernet, really put in. The wine is rounder and riper than the Normale above - perhaps a bit more internationally acceptable, a bit less uncompromisingly Tuscan".

The Chianti Classico Riserva Vigna del Capannino "is a special selection carried out only in the best years. 100% Sangiovese, aged in barrique, it is quite round and ripe but unmistakably Tuscan".
